Elizabeth Bird is a leading UK based Wealth Manager, with 15 years of experience managing the wealth of high net worth families, business owners, and professionals within the private banking arena.
Following her mathematics degree at Oxford University, Elizabeth commenced a successful career in The City with Coutts, being one of the first and youngest private bankers to have the privilege of working in Canary Wharf.
Following her move with Coutts back to the Northwest, she joined UBS Wealth Management as one of the founding advisers and subsequently moved to Barclays Wealth to focus on advising a number of their high profile North-West business owners and families.
Elizabeth has specialised for many years in studying the individual needs of High Net Worth families and the specific issues that significant wealth can create. As a mother herself, she understands the importance of safe guarding family wealth for the next generations.
She has a keen interest in behavioral finance, and the successful blend of conventional economics and finance, with the psychology behind how our minds can help or hinder investment success.
Elizabeth set up Chronos Wealth Ltd in order to deliver an exclusive and focused advisory service, using the expert knowledge that she has gained in her field through her work with families and leading business owners.
Elizabeth sees her primary role as a client’s adviser or financial coach; helping families to put their financial plans in place and, more importantly, stay on track.
As a business owner herself, her interests are aligned with those of her clients; to provide clear and concise recommendations that work over the long term, and to be there on the journey when their affairs may change.
Liz has handled my pensions transfer and asset protection affairs with alacrity and professionalism. She is always open, balanced and fair in the advice she gives and is available at all times to provide help and support if needed. I should be perfectly happy recommending her services to my peers.
